I: How do I prepare for the competition?
  • LM: Being knowledgeable of the curricullum up until the 1st of Novermber and trying to solve the previous years' questions is enough.www.luminamath.org.

    • I: How do I enroll in the contest?
  • LM: To enroll in the contest, complete the registration form on the website www.luminamath.org and you will receive a confirmation email that also contains the automatically generated password.

    • I: What do I have to bring to the exam?
  • LM: At the Written Stage you will need to bring your student card or identity card, pen/pencil/pen. Objects or materials such as mobile phone, computer or ruler are prohibited.

    • I: Am I allowed to fill in the answer sheet with anything other than pencil?
  • LM: YES, as the answer forms will be fed into optical readers for grading, which can read the forms filled in with pen/pen/pencil.

    • I: What happens if I cannot attend; can someone else participate in my place?
  • LM: Registration is done individually, after which personalized answer sheets are printed, therefore, no other student can participate instead of the one abandoning the exam.

    • I: Who organizes the awards ceremony for each county and whom should I contact if I had any questions?
  • LM: The administrator of each county will decide how the winners will receive their diplomas and prizes and will organize the awards ceremony at the county level. The date and location of the ceremony will be posted on the www.luminamath.org website after administrators decide such matters.
